Citrus Green Tea
Citrus Green Tea Recipe
12 Cups Water
5 Green Tea Bags
¾ Cup White Sugar
1 Orange (large)
1 Lime
1 Lemon
In a large pot, bring the water to a rolling boil.
Once boiling, remove the pot from heat, and add in the green tea bags. Allow the green tea bags to steep in the hot water for 5 minutes.
Remove the tea bags from the hot water. Slice the orange, lemon, and lime in half.
Stir the white sugar into the tea until fully dissolved.
Squeeze the juice of the citrus halves directly into the tea. Once each of the citrus halves have been juiced, add the citrus peels into the hot tea. Allow the citrus peels to steep in the tea until the tea cools to room temperature.
Once room temperature, strain the tea and transfer it into a pitcher. Refrigerate the pitcher until the tea is completely chilled.
Serve over ice and enjoy!
